Homework

Homework reinforces what is learned at school and instills good work habits. According to research, first graders should work on written homework for no more than 10 to 15 minutes each night, Monday through Thursday. They should also read for 20 minutes each night. Our class does not have homework on weekends, so that students have time to spend with family and friends. If you feel that your child is spending too much or too little time on their assignments, please let me know so I can work with your child toward a solution. Homework is due on Fridays. If there is no school, it will be due on Thursday. |
